Ingredients:
For the Steak:

1 pound flank steak

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the Salad:

6 cups romaine lettuce, chopped

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cucumber, diced
-
1/2 red onion, finely sliced

1 avocado, diced
-
1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese (optional)
For the Dressing:

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
-
1 teaspoon honey

Salt and black pepper to taste
Directions:

Season the Steak:
Pat the flank steak dry with paper towels. Rub both sides with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. -
Cook the Steak:
Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for 4–5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes. -
Prepare the Salad Base:
In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and avocado. -
Make the Dressing:
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and black pepper until well emulsified. -
Slice and Chop the Steak:
Slice the rested steak thinly against the grain, then chop into bite-sized pieces. -
Assemble the Salad:
Add the chopped steak to the salad bowl. Drizzle with dressing and toss gently to combine. -
Finish and Serve:
